We had an amazing time camping in Sand Flats. We reserved group campsite E-1 and it was a great spot. Plenty of room for campers and lots of space for tents. The large rock next to the site provided shade as well as a fun place to climb up and see the view. The Jeep trails in Sand Flats are out of this world. Our site was right next to the entrance to Fins N Things (although not so close to be overly loud) and we loved watching groups of 4-wheelers start their journey on the trail. Sand Flats seems to be managed well, without it feeling like it is overly managed. Our stay at Sand Flats really made our trip to Moab great. Be sure to rent a Jeep from John at Jenn's Jeep Rentals!

Great site but better for tents than large trailers. We were able to park one large trailer and a pop-up camper and still have room for about 3 other vehicles. I only gave 4 stars because the driveway into the site has a pretty deep dip such that the landing gear on our camper would have dragged on the ground if we hadn't used rocks and boards to get across it.

The site was clean and very close to the center of town and Arches NP. There was ample space between sites so it did not feel cramped. I would definitely camp here again.
