What Guests Are Saying

Bear Canyon is praised for its stunning beauty, particularly during the fall, and the ease of online reservations. However, there are concerns about the need for improved amenities, including bathroom facilities and shade. The campground is considered overpriced given the current conditions.

The individual sites at “ hike-in” sites. Schlep stuff from your car over a bridge and just next to Salt Creek. Looks cool, but we had a roof top tent. Luckily it was a weekday. Great space, quiet.

I didnt see on the original site that we needed to hike our stuff to our camp. Husband was not thrilled. Lots of cow poop all over the camp site.
The group sites are better and closer to the bathrooms. Plus you do not need to hike to those.
We camped in July, not busy at all and not much water left in the creek.
