For anyone considering using this as a group site: the description of this campsite claims you can fit 100 people, and it shows pictures of flat tent sites across the river from the fire pit area. We assumed this was part of the site as there are only a couple places to put tents on the fire pit side of the river. Many other campground users (at least 5 or 6 families) were using the river access in the middle of our campground. One family using the river brought 3 dogs very close to our tents that were being aggressive towards our dog. When we asked the camp host about this, wanting privacy and assuming since we paid high dollar for the group site that it was our private space- the camp host told us technically only the fire pit side of the river is private camp site. Just be aware that the fire pit side of the river in no way could hold 100 people, probably not even 20 campers. You will be paying high dollar for an expected private group site and having a lot of other campers coming to your site to access the river, near where your tents are set up. I hope this review will encourage the campground managers to clear up the information on the listing or post private signs at the assumed group site. No refund was given when we requested one after our stay.

Beautiful views, lots of wildlife out and about. Yes, there are mosquitos; wear spray and cover up. Each of the hosts were very kind and helpful. Bathrooms were always clean.

Stay wasn't that great. This campsite had a lot of mosquitos with the stagnant water near by. I had read a previous review from a few years ago that said it was a problem--I thought maybe the weather was wetter that year, which caused the pooling of stagnant water. NOPE. As long as you prepare for them and know that they will be invited to your party. ENJOY!
