The Sandwagon campsite was a gorgeous venue for our wedding. Clean, no trash, nice paved area with picnic tables and a stone fire pit in the middle. It was so picturesque! We had a lovely picnic and campout after our ceremony. And the restrooms (vault toilets) were clean and not stinky. There was no hand sanitizer, though, that would have been nice. Be sure to bring your own.
The big problem was, we had so many strangers park in our parking lot, even though we had a very visible wedding sign by the gate. Couples, whole families, and groups of teenagers. My husband had to confront so many people before our ceremony, and got into shouting matches with some of them. Imagine having to stand guard in the parking lot of your own wedding and chase people out. It was EXTREMELY frustrating. We spent $800 for the site, and people just invited themselves in, hoping we wouldn't notice. I would advise anyone getting married here to hire a bouncer.

We've stayed at this site a few times over the years and LOVED it! However, there's a yellowjacket nest somewhere in the site, and we left after the first night because we were worried about our four-month-old. If you're planning on being there soon, just keep an eye out for the yellowjackets.
