The campground overall is very nice. Lots of shade, easy acess to walking trails and rock climbing, right on the river. The spot we stayed in was funky, with a parking area and walk in camping that was very close together, I didn't like how close I was to my neighbors in the "tent-only" sites.

The camp hosts were very friendly!! They kept the bathrooms so clean I have never had an out house smell so good! The grounds are kept so clean and groomed! The camp hosts are the best they have ever had I have been coming here for 40 years all summer! Great time!

What a beautiful little family getaway! The spots were nice, the campground was clean, we loved being by the river! A perfect spot for our family who was experiencing camping for their first time. The only tough thing was the loud cars driving up and down the canyon all night long. The river masked the sounds a bit though so that was nice. We will be back!

Sweet little campground on the river. Host was great. Our site was clean and had river access. Only downside is highway noise. It’s a very popular road and motorcycles love racing it all hours.

The campground is only a few minutes from Timpanogos Cave NM. Our site was right along the river. On a hot day it was blissful to soak one’s feet in the water. The camp host was friendly and offered to sell wood for a campfire. The only drawback was the quad runner, muscle car and monster truck noise from the road on the other side of the river. Fortunately, it’s quieter when the traffic dies down at night.

Getting There
From Salt Lake City or Provo, take I-15 to the Alpine-Highland exit 284. Travel 8 mi east on Utah Highway 92 to the mouth of American Fork Canyon. Stay on 92 for 4 mi to the campground.

Little Mill Campground is accessible via Interstate 15, with the Alpine-Highland exit 284 providing access to Utah Highway 92. The campground is located approximately 12 miles from I-15 and is reached by traveling 8 miles east on Highway 92, followed by 4 miles further into American Fork Canyon.
