What a great location. This camp ground has the best tent camping we've seen in Utah. Almost all of their tent and RV sites are well shaded during the day. The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful with questions about the area also. We'll be back and we suggest you try out site 16 next time you are thinking of camping. Enjoy

Expect a lot traffic and most sites fairly close to main road, camp was clean and nice, it was good time and the camp stewards were extremely friendly and helpful. Prob go back but not on a weekend as general area was overrun with people!

Small, quiet, clean and honestly a great site not far from the mouth of the canyon. The location near the river is also really nice- if you go when the water is higher, you don't hear the road as much. We had a great time and the hosts were super friendly!

What can we say. It was wonderful. The restrooms were clean and the scenery was spectacular.

Getting There
From Salt Lake City or Provo, take I-15 to the Alpine-Highland exit 284. Travel 8 mi east on Utah Highway 92 to the mouth of American Fork Canyon. Stay on 92 for 4 mi to the campground.
Highway access
Little Mill Campground is accessible via Interstate 15, with the Alpine-Highland exit 284 providing access to Utah Highway 92. The campground is located approximately 12 miles from I-15 and is reached by traveling 8 miles east on Highway 92, followed by 4 miles further into American Fork Canyon.
