Provo River Resort

Do I dare share this hidden gem!! YES I have too! All the sites & roads are really well maintained, next to the river for incredible fly fishing. With all that said we did not camp this time, but 3 other family members did and they are ecstatic to return. We did just stay the day. Here is our story. My son is cognitively disabled, but high functioning. All he wants to do in life is FISH!!! They gave me a day pass for a site 21 at a VERY discounted price so that I could be near my sister and her kids and still a very close eye on my son. The day could not have gone any better, with great success at catching fish. Bring your waders and a net and prep for some fun. This location is tucked down from the highway, you can hear the cars, but only barely, cause you are focused on FUN, Family, Friends and for us FISHING. Miss Connie & front desk check in staff (sorry I forgot your name), I can not thank you enough for the gift you gave us all. What a treat of a location!!! Easy and fast for us to get there and have a staycation that is still a fun vacation in the mountains. Thanks again for great day!!

If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, Provo River Resort is the place to be. Our site had a great view of the Provo River and the mountains. We had the opportunity to meet the resort owner; an amazing person! And the office staff were very friendly. A true hidden gem for anyone. We already made reservations to be back the first week of June.

This was an excellent campsite. It is well maintained with very friendly staff. The views are wonderful. There are many conveniences. It was so cool to be literally at the river and it felt so quiet and relaxing. Really great location because we were in the heart of the mountains but were still able to take my son to his day camp down in town. The only complaint I would make is that the sprinklers are usually scheduled to come on after 11pm but that's subject to change. Well they happened to run around the playground area between 6 and 7 pm the first night we were there which is peak hours for my kiddos to be playing. Other than that, we had an awesome stay and will be recommending to friends.

This resort was amazing, we got a river front site and it was perfect. We got to do tubing down the Provo river, which was super fun. There are river entries and exits through out the resort and they also rent the tubes and life jackets, at a very affordable price. It is a bit noisy in the night due to that main road right next to it, we were using tents so it was loud, I guess that is not a problem if you have an RV. The bathrooms were clean, and there a small store just in case you forgot something. We really liked this place.

We had a fantastic time with our three kids. We floated the river multiple times, although very cold, it was so much fun! The staff were polite. It was quiet. The greenery and grass was beautiful! We will definitely be back
