Spruces - Big Cottonwood

I really appreciate the hosts and how much they love the park. Even with no water the out houses were cleaner than any concert or construction job I have ever been. No harassment could feel they were keeping an i out. Thank you for your hard work.

Beautiful facility that was perfect for our family gathering. Everything was clean, including the restrooms. Thank you.

There was no water in Spruces campground. This also meant the bathrooms were not in service. There was no warning or heads up about it until I pulled up to the campground. The picnic tables are in poor condition.

This was a first time in this campground for our family, and we absolutely loved it! It's a big campground and the kids could ride bikes and find plenty of exploring to do. There was so much shade and our whole experience really brought us back to nature. This is definitely a campground we will consider for future family trips.

I love it at the spruces. It is such a nice campground, nice and clean and the nature of the river and the deer and the moose going through camp.

The host was very friendly and helpful. The camp site was large and isolated from the other sites. The bathroom was close by and everything quieted down by just a little after 10. Also they don’t have bears in the vicinity, so there was no requirement to keep food in a bear locker. I did make sure all my food and toiletries were in my car rather than my tent though. I’d happily camp here again if I’m in the area.

love it here but 2nd time this year no water portable bathrooms and no drinking or use water . also had issues last year on no water sad .

It was fantastic! The weather was super nice, it even rained for about an hour. Smelled so good! It was nice to get out of the hot weather and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Camp spot was clean and well taken care of. Will definitely go back.

Overall great campground with nice view and water nearby. Our campsite was great. Felt safe and private. Just a few steps from river which helps us to cool down during afternoon sun. You will hear river sounds when you sleep. Some good shady spots. Picnic area is not as shaded as we expected specially afternoon and dinner time. Tent ground was not entirely flat for large tent but okay. Honey bucket was not very bad but it was smelly. Hope the flush toilet will be fixed next year.
