We’ve always loved these sites in the past. However, the site was not clean this time around. There were a few piles of ash and coal spread all around the site. Making for a messy evening with the kids. It’s an amazing atmosphere just wish the sites were cleaner.

5 Star Customer Service. I wasn’t able to catch the gentleman’s name that takes care of the property in his golf cart. This gentleman treated my family and I so kindly. Made us feel welcome and went above and beyond in the customer service he provided us.

The man who ran the picnic area, was very rude to my brother in law. He yelled at him, for having dogs inside not outside his car, and he tried to charge him $10 to park.

I've reserved a group picnic area at storm mountain for 15 to 20 yrs. This year the host was no where to be found. After 2 hrs he came to give us passes for our group's cars. Told us to knock on his trailer if we need anything. When we discovered no toilet paper in women's restroom, no answer at the trailer. Picnic tables were rough, warped, splintered wood making them unusable. The children's playground was replaced with some structure requiring an unreasonable fee to sit in. We will find some other place for our annual multi-family hot dog cook out. I hope other national parks are not in such disrepair.

Beautiful site. Be aware that the site includes parking for one car, but every car after that is $10, and they only accept cash.

The host, Steve, was a great guy! We would have enjoyed it more, but with a child, thick brush, and rattlesnakes it was a little nerve wracking! Saw 2 rattlesnakes near trails, so watch the kids and be aware!
