I’ve been going to tanners flats for years and with the exception of one or two times, it’s been a very pleasant camping experience.

We stayed in the lower loop of the campground and thought it was great! The weather wasn’t too great but we still had a ton of fun! It was very relaxing! Secluded campgrounds were a plus! Will definitely make more camping trips here again!

I highly recommend Tanner's Flats for a quick stroll up the canyon. There are a couple spots close to the road, so be mindful if you don't like traffic noise. We had spot #2 and it was great, except we were on the other side of the group sites. I guess I'm not sure why parents let their scream all day?! I have two very loud boys, so I'm not just being intolerant. Anyway, spot #2's table and fire pit are a little walk from where you park your car, but it made it very private. Tanner's Flats is well taken care of and a very pretty spot in the mountains.

Very nice and big campground. It just seemed to be run a little too loosely in some areas and yet nicely tight in other areas.

The campground hosts were great! I wish great hosts like them would be there every year! They were helpful but not in our face too much. We loved our site next to the river. Soooo beautiful! We enjoyed the low key feel of the campground. The sand volleyball was so much fun! It's always nice to have flushing toilets. It looked like just before we left that they are going to remodel the restrooms. We will be back next year!

The site was nice, very private. BUT there was no clear place to wash dishes and the camp host suggested the bathroom sink which was kinda gross. There was no place to bathe - bathroom sink too:) The beautiful river was off limits with threatening signage. There also were no chairs as pictured so bring your camp chairs! Just a picnic table. Last there were warnings about bears but no bear-safe place to store food
