What Guests Are Saying

Lodgepole at Heber is praised for its beautiful scenery, spacious campsites, and friendly camp hosts, making it a favorite among many families. However, issues such as persistent road noise from Highway 40, lack of water, and maintenance concerns with restrooms and facilities have been recurring frustrations for campers. Despite these drawbacks, many reviewers express a strong desire to return, hoping for improvements in management and amenities.

We love camping at Lodgepole Heber Utah. I wish there was water available and the bathrooms were working.

They tell us that we’ll have water and we get there and there’s no water at all! We have camped there for years and are getting more disappointed every year. We didn’t see the camp host hardly at all! The camp units are not taken care of very well! Every year we are more disappointed with Lodgepole!

Really liked the camp. Lots of shade. Clean and well kept. Only complaint is no water so RV cleanout station not working. Can be noisy because of the Highway, but in a trailer there was no problem. Will go again and take Grandkids.

We really like this campground but we do have a complaint about the campground. There is very little maintenance done at the campground. The water hasn’t worked for several years! The forest service or campground management company really need to get the water working!

The camp managers were super nice and the place was ideal with wide spaces between many of the tent locations. It was perfect for our family.

I wish the vault toilets worked so we didn't have to use the porta pottys, but that was only a minor inconvenience.

Great campground. You really can hear Highway 40 and the big trucks— but if you are OK with that, it’s a great place to camp. There is a nice hike that is about 5 1/2 mi. And you’re pretty close to the Daniel Summit General store if you need something.

We were pleasantly surprised to arrive and see the Spicket's were turned on. Previous visits there has been no water so we hauled water all the way there. They even opened the bathrooms with flushable toilets for one day. The honey buckets were very full maybe that's why they did that! We love camping here but the highway noise is very loud and hard to talk when sitting around camp with friends. It is all day and all night. Such a beautiful campground otherwise.
