Fire pit was very welcome as the temperatures were lower than I'd expected and the structure of the pit holds & generates heat well. The place was more full than I'd expected but people were generally quiet & respectful and I could hear the creek from my tent, which was lovely. Excellent hiking.

Secluded and pristine. Well developed trail system and a couple of very nice, neighboring towns for supplies and activities.

Chittenden Brook is a lovely campground. It’s good for tent camping or small pop-ups, nothing bigger. It has vault toilets but no other services. Take the hike to Beaver Pond! This was our second trip to Chittenden Brook and we will definitely be back.
