Sure would be nice to repair the water situation for the campground it’s been years. Also please let the camp host sell fire wood to fellow campers

Peaceful and quiet. Beautiful surroundings. Sections of the long trail reachable within a short driving range. Coverage is scarce. Water pump has not been working throughout the season.

Nice, relatively quiet weekend stay. Well beyond quiet hours a couple of children were talking loudly on the opposite side of the campground so minimally annoying. Kids will be kids.
We had hoped to find information on how to get to the new mountain biking trail but saw nothing posted. The park caretaker was helpful but he had not been on the trail yet. Fortunately we came across a local who gave us specific instructions and we found the trail. Parking is at the area for camper parking of Silver Lake campground. The biking trail is beyond the gates. Unfortunately there is currently no signage to indicate this is the trail.
All in all another very nice (cool) tent camping experience at Moosalamoo!
