Really liked the quietness and remote-feeling of this campground. Used it as a basecamp to hike multiple trails in the area and it was absolutely perfect. 20 minutes of driving away from great trails. Was way more quiet and enjoyable in the weekdays, got pretty full once the weekend came and was noisier, but overall a great experience there. I was on #005, but I would choose another site if I were to come back. Trees were pretty far apart so hard to setup a tarp (that was needed as it rained a lot while I was there). Would recommend the Skylight Pond trail that was my favorite in the area

The site host, Wayne was kind. He was not aware of attractions or local shopping. He kept the campground clean and provided firewood as needed. The potable water was a 2 person pump, hindering my ability to get any while there. Wayne gave me what he got from American Legion, where he got his own from. False advertising about what at that site is how I perceive it. The toilets were well kept.
