Fantastic stay, campsite was super quiet. Looked like most reservable spots were booked but unoccupied, which was super disappointing, but most of the first come-first serve sites were still available through the weekend. Beaver pond trail from campground was a fun quick little trek as well. Great spot.

Wonderful location and wonderful site.
The reason for three stars instead of five was a group of inconsiderate camp neighbors. Since there was no campground host on this date, they commandeered the host's site (next to ours). Hours after dark, they decided to invite their friends to join the intoxication.
We would have expected that a fairly remote Vermont location in mid-October wouldn't attract a frat party.
The camping experience was a joy except for the aforementioned neighbors.

Beautiful campsite, downloaded the map of the area on google maps ahead of time to prepare for the lack of service.

Loved the recent upgrades to the facilities, i.e. the bathrooms & fire pit rings. Was here to hike but will definitely be back to explore the gravel bike trails next summer.

This was definitely one of the better campsites I’ve stayed at! Although there are multiple sites, they are spaced well and have enough trees that you feel separated from your neighbors. No running water or electricity which wasn’t an issue. There are vault toilets and were quite clean despite the strong ammonia smell and flies (to be expected though). Each site has a picnic bench, fire pit and platform for your tent. I didn’t see any bear at camp but take food precautions regardless. Be sure to download any maps including GPS directions for offline use in advance because there’s no cell service a few miles before you enter the site. It was awesome being unplugged from life. It’s about a 2.5 mile dirt road from the main road, with a semi steep incline at times going up to the site. My Subie had no issue but I’m not quite sure how well an RV would do.
Unfortunately, I had limited time to spend at the actual campsite besides breakfast and sleeping due to plans. However, I will definitely be back and explore the trails. All in all, I loved it and can’t wait to go back.
