Chittenden Brook is the most beautiful campground in the East Coast. Pristinely clean, with maintained compostable bathrooms, and greener than any other place on Earth. It’s been our fourth summer coming back, and it felt warmer than in the previous years so we swam in the brook every morning. A life changing experience and we can’t wait to be back. Thank you for that great Gift to the forestry team.

Great experience and the site was well maintained. We enjoyed fishing and exploring at the nearby Chittenden reservoir.

Four of us camped here on a Saturday night and it was wonderful. The site is right by the river which we heard flowing at all times and found it to be very peaceful. There is only one tent pad, but it was just big enough to fit our 8 person tent. The bathrooms are right next to this campsite which was great. However, be mindful that this also means others will likely be walking near the site to get to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Overall it was an excellent stay and one of my favorite campsites.

Excellent remote camp site. Perfect for getting away from it all since you are truly disconnected with no cell service. :-)
The mountain biking from there is top notch as well! Bring your climbing legs :-)

Awesome little campground. Small, quiet, and pretty. Good hiking. Cute little towns with stores and coffee nearby.

Very private campground. Drive 2.5 miles in before you get to the sites. Very quiet and shaded. The fire pit needed to be cleaned but the rest of the site was great.
