Beautiful location. Very helpful staff. Lots of space. No showers, a little on the rugged side and it's a bit of a rough drive out to the campsite, but a good camping location overall.

This is a well kept Forest Service campground, quiet and remote. The volunteer host was very nice and very helpful. Sites are generally well spaced for privacy. There are NO hookups (and I generally count that as a plus). If you like more primitive campgrounds you’ll like this one. Lots of biking and hiking trails here! Really the only complaint is that some of the paved portions of the FS roads were pretty rough. Unpaved sections were generally better.

This gem of a campground is off the beaten track but has access to numerous great hiking trails. All of the sites are exceptionally well-maintained--not a shred of paper or debris from prior campers. Best of all, the camp hosts, Penny and Plyler, are so welcoming, helpful and friendly. I've stayed at this campground numerous times, and it is always like coming home.
