The campground hosts were incredibly nice. They suggested and gave us directions for a beautiful hike. The campground is relatively secluded, but very well maintained. The road to the campground is not paved but our sedan was able to make it up pretty easily.

I spent time at Moosalamoo National Forest Campground 3 times this season.
My last visit was in September for 8 nights. This is a very busy time of year for all the New England campgrounds, none more than the VT sites for the foliage season.
Each visit was great- the site is kept clean and the always friendly campground hosts made a big difference there, always checking on the individual sites and answering questions cheerfully. Penny and Plyer are a huge asset to the Forest Service- their attention to the little details of the campground make all the difference. I always felt safe leaving all my gear, mountain bike or motorcycle at this site while off hiking, mountain biking or riding my motorcycle for long periods of time.
I hope to visit again next season as often as I can, and look forward to seeing Penny and Plyer there when I do.
