The staff was terrific!! The layout was horrible. Rather shocked being it was a Corp of Engineers campground. DO NOT bring a long 5th wheel to the south campground. It's a nightmare and the sites are lower than the road and you will drag. That is if you can make the sharp turn with a cliff wall onto the narrow one lane bridge to get to the campsites. Beautiful place aside to the layout.

We've stayed here twice. It's a well-run campground. Clean restrooms. Well-marked walking trails. Lots of other hiking and biking to do in the area. Both times we've stayed, there have been BIG groups near us -- many of the sites are located on a long grassy area so folks can reserve several together and have a family reunion or whatever. Can get noisy. Sites right on the river tend to get crowded and noisy as well. Pick a more remote site if you want quiet! Other than that, a lovely spot.

We loved everything about this campground! Sites were lovely, trails and river right there... what's not to love!
Clean, neat....
only thing that could have made it better was a sweatshirt to purchase!

Lovely campground with nice amenities (electrical and water hookups, flush toilets and showers, & dish washing area). Great location. Some sites with hookups are too close. Too many dogs, some not on leashes.
Overall a wonderful experience.

Carol was a very kind host, helping us with a last minute site transfer so we could avoid the incoming rain storms by staying in a lean to. Thank you, Carol!
