We camped at Winhall for three nights, and it was awesome. We actually sat back, relaxed and hiked around the camp grounds to capture some images. Cell service at my site was non existent, but a short drive up the short hill and signal was good.

We have been camping here for 13 years. We absolutely love it. The rangers are always courteous and helpful.
If I could think of one thing we would like to see different is that out-of-state people PLEASE keep their speed down. It is such a beautiful park with children playing on the roads. There is no reason to drive 20-25 miles per hour.

Loved hiking along the river. Tried to bike it but it’s too messy with debris to make it an enjoyable ride.
Our neighbors recommended the Orvis store which we loved. Long Trail Brewery is a must stop if you’re into craft brews.

This was my 4th year staying the final open week of the campground to do some early season bird hunting. As always the campground was clean, good clientele and USACE staff very friendly and accommodating.
