Well-maintained pavillion. Daniel was an engaged and helpful staff member. The restrooms adjacent to area E need updating.

I reserved a pavilion at Fort Hunt Park for a family gathering. Most of us had not seen each other in over 2 years due to the Pandemic. Fort Hunt served as a central location. The space was sufficient, and we were blessed with excellent weather! The park ranger gave me a call the day before to ensure we were good to go and also inform me about an earlier event at the park in case I arrived early and ran into any road closures. The process, from reservation to celebration, was a breeze. The park ranger also stopped by the day of the event to make sure everything was as expected. Highly recommend Fort Hunt Park!

Fort Hunt Park is a favorite neighborhood destination park with excellent facilities and where nature abounds. The pavilions are perfect for parties of larger groups with tons of space to spread out or to gather under one shelter. The park staff is responsive and friendly, and the facilities are well maintained.

The location is fantastic and my guest had a wonderful time. My only disappointment was during the pandemic there were changes made to food service in the park, not being allowed to have an ice cream truck was very disappointing for my guest, as we had one in 2019 & before but things changed and no one can say why. The children really enjoyed this visit for about an hour and having to eliminate it was a huge disappointment.
Park personnel were very helpful and polite, appreciate that too.

We wanted an outdoor venue for our company event at the beginning of September and decided to reserve Pavilion C2. It was perfect for our 30-person gathering. We were able to decorate the pavilion, bring in our own food and beverage, and the unloading zone was very handy during set-up and clean-up. We had plenty of trash and recycling receptacles at the pavilion, so there was no need to worry about hauling trash away. There were bathrooms just across the road, not terribly far. A park ranger checked in on us to be sure we had everything we needed. In all, it was a convenient, inexpensive way to gather outdoors with a roof over our heads, and fun was had by all!
