It’s a beautiful setting and we are definitely returning next year!! I hope you will consider putting trash disposal within walking distance of the campground rather than having to drive to a dumpster and also have a recycling station.

Wonderful campground, wonderful people camping there. Camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. Absolutely love Philpott Lake. Verizon cell signal was good. Camp sites in a few areas were a bit closer to each other than I like but overall a well kept campground with nice folks everywhere.

Enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in the upper lot on the hill which is a good hike from the water but very quiet and nicely covered in trees. I had my car but others in my group had their campers, tight curve to leave but they were all able to do it. Showers and bathrooms were clean and some of the best I have had while camping. I did bring my kayak and the water covered the docks and boat ramp but I still put in and kayaked around.

Every trip there, without exception, is so peaceful, with majestic water views. Most "neighbors" are friendly as are the park employees. This park is well maintained. In comparison, I booked a three night stay at Buffalo Park recently. I was there for about an hour and that is all it took really. Sites not well maintained, trees left where they were obviously chopped down. To add insult to injury, my neighbor there came by to inform me the previous camper at the site I was on, had a small dog bitten by a cottonmouth and had to be rushed to the hospital. I left immediately. In addition, the two other reservations I made at Buffalo Park I also cancelled. Keep up the good work COE. I had always heard COE sites were immaculate. Yours at Goose Point certainly qualifies!

Had a great time. Enjoyed watching the chipmunks everywhere. Just wish people would pick up after their dogs

We have always enjoyed our stays here. Only negative (kind of), time to replace the hand dryers in the bathroom
