Beautiful campground. All lake side sites have an incredible view of the lake. I highly recommend this campground not just for boaters. Family friendly. Clean bathrooms and showers. Playground for kids and a nice Sandy beach.

We were in loop C with great views of the lake, even from campsites not on the lake shore. The sites vary in length but most in loop C should be long enough for larger RVs. Site width should be more than adequate for most anyone. Most also are sloped to varying degrees so make sure you have leveling blocks. Not as much space between sites as with some CGs, but more than with others. Trees provide most sites with at least partial shade, some full. Lack of shrubbery or other low-lying vegetation has a plus (good views of the lake from the interior) and a minus (lack of privacy between sites). Bathhouses were clean. Rangers made frequent rounds through the campground (I haven't always seen that at federal campgrounds). The road in is narrow and twisty but I had no problem with my RV. There is a tight hairpin curve in the campground road just prior to loop C that had evidence of others that had problems in the form of gouges in the asphalt. But we saw several 5th wheels and class A motorhomes camped in the loop. We had a pleasant surprise in the form of live music at the beach pavilion (about 100 yards from our site) Saturday afternoon -- an acoustic duo that did pop, rock, and country covers. If it's a nice day for boating, be prepared for the sound of occasional boat motors and loud music emanating from boats on the lake. It wasn't really obnoxious -- they almost always were just passing by -- but it did somewhat interrupt the peacefulness of the venue.

Nice campground. Antique hand dryer in restroom that half way does the job that really needs upgrading. TMobile phone service is not available. No ice sales available. Bring your own.

We reserved a campsite that was really too small for our camper but we made it work because there were very few occupied sites in the A loop. We were able to move to a different site. We enjoyed the peaceful environment, the trees and the birds. The staff were all very helpful and kind to us.
The A loop is located on an elevated space that provides a majestic view of the lake. The lakefront camping loop was very nice and a good jaunt for us older folks to walk back up to our site.

Loved this large waterfront site. Easy distance to bath house, right next to Sandy beach for swimming.
