Goose Point is a good place to camp. You need to be aware that the campsites in Loop A are pretty tight and some of them are a challenge to back into, but most of the sites seemed fine.

We found the campground to be clean and quiet for our late August stay. The lake water level was several feet low, but there were no difficulties in putting our kayaks in from the shore at C loop. We were there during the week, and found many empty sites for several days at a time, but would assume they filled up for the weekend. Lots of great kayaking opportunities, and not too much competition from speed boats and other water craft.

Goose Point is a beautiful campground on Philpott Reservoir, it has wonderful views of the lake. The facilities are always clean and the grounds are well taking care of. I love camping there. I keep going back.
