Park needs a place to park boat trailers, on the weekends you may have to walk a half of a mile or so from the boat dock back to your truck. During the week normally you can find a spot close to the ramp to park.

Great campground and staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Nice area to enjoy the water. Beautiful views at the Philpott dam. Already have a site booked for September!

We loved the campground and the boat access for putting our boat in. The beach area on the Saturday and Sunday was rough because there were several adults playing corn hole and had ver foul mouths and we had to leave with our small kids because they wouldn’t stop acting foolish. We found out though our stay that the people who came in on day passes didn’t have respect for others around them

4*This is a very nice campground. 3* is for the site 16 needs to more level. 2* for not being clean at the picnic area. Other campers and day use people leave it a mess like food left on tables corn cobs on the floor and ground.. 1* for the older host for being unfriendly.

We had a level, lovely campsite at the top of the hill. The staff are friendly and helpful.
