Goose Point Park is a clean, friendly, well maintained campground. Our loop looked out on the lake and many sites were right on the edge of it. I would definitely return with my kayak and stay longer.

we were in site 43 - I would not recommend this site for trailers (although the web site says it is a trailer site) - we have a 20 foot trailer and ended up backing into the 'pull-through' site with some effort - driveway was way off level in both directions (width and length) ---
overall seems like a great campground - just would only recommend that loop to tents or popups.

Lucked out with beautuful weather, fall colors and great site overlooking the beach. Site #6. All facilities in great shape. First time camping at any of the Philpott sites. I was the only tent camper in the lakefront loop. Was able to use Google street view to check out the site before booking. Clean, quite, and an all around great three days. No wonder it is very hard to find a site in this section available. But if you are vigilant at checking open sites and are flexible you might just find a great site open. The daily 25.00 per day fee for a site with water and electric is a great bargain. And with a senior pass it is a crazy good deal! Very impressed with REC.gov website in all areas. Makes things so easy. Great experience all the way around.
