Lucked out with beautuful weather, fall colors and great site overlooking the beach. Site #6. All facilities in great shape. First time camping at any of the Philpott sites. I was the only tent camper in the lakefront loop. Was able to use Google street view to check out the site before booking. Clean, quite, and an all around great three days. No wonder it is very hard to find a site in this section available. But if you are vigilant at checking open sites and are flexible you might just find a great site open. The daily 25.00 per day fee for a site with water and electric is a great bargain. And with a senior pass it is a crazy good deal! Very impressed with REC.gov website in all areas. Makes things so easy. Great experience all the way around.

Beautiful campground. Faucet was broken and dripping, but fixed very quickly by maintenance crew.

This was our first time staying at goose point Park. We enjoyed our time during this fall weekend. The lake was beautiful especially the leaves on the trees turning colors. The sites are spacious and well set up. We loved the fire pit with the retaining wall around it. The atmosphere and other campers were so friendly. The paved roads were nice for walking and good for kids to ride bikes, scooters and pull a wagon. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful campground! Very clean, well maintained and friendly staff. We lasted 4 days through a tropical storm, but still enjoyed being at Goose Point and look forward to going back!

Staying in October was a great time to stay. We were there for 7 nights and the weather was perfect. Campground in our area was peaceful. Site 47 and we used a cell signal booster and had good service. Only on a few sites.
