Loved it! I just wish we could've paid with cash instead of the hassle of making reservations online.

We love Goosepoint! Would love to have limbs and some trees removed to make a better view of the lake. Loved the peace and quite. If you are lucky enough to get reservations, it is truly a wonderful getaway!

Goose point is beautiful. The lake is so nice, and all the people there were kind. We lost our canopy to a rouge thunderstorm wind and our neighbor campers helped us, running over in the middle of the storm to help us get it down. After the storm a lot of trees were down and the park service was there within the hour to clear things out, and they also went around to all the campsites asking after everyone to be sure we were all OK.
Aside from all that, the beach is really nice, and has a beautiful view of open water and mountains. We were lucky enough to have a campsite on the water, but there are really no "bad" sites. They are all gorgeous. The showers and bathrooms are clean and nice. It is also not a huge camp, so there are not a ton of people or overcrowding. There is a great boat dock, and a place to tie off your boat on the beach so you can just keep it in the water while you are there. Super nice place.
