After being quarantined for three months it was wonderful to get away. Even if it was only for a few days. Everyone at Goose Point was very friendly and accommodating.

We hit a pole that was poorly marked and they had put us in a campsite that our camper would never have fit in, but their website said it would. We had damage to our vehicle and camper. We had to fit to get our money back and go to top management. We will NEVER camp here again. Poor customer service and deceitful website.

The wooded setting is so enjoyable - you get that "back to nature" feel with clean facilities. We had our own kayaks and enjoyed a day of relaxing paddling on the lake. Tip - make sure you stock up on food and supplies before heading to the park. It is several miles to the nearest convenience type store.

We stayed on site 29 in a 30 foot pull behind. Backing in to the site and pulling out was horrible. It is not configured correctly for that length trailer and should not be allowed. Reconfigure or change the maximum trailer length!

We camp with a medium sized camper so we have never stayed in the two upper tent site loops. The loop down near the water with sites 1 through 31 is a beautiful campground with a very nice and centrally located bath house, a boat launch, a picnic area near the waterfront and a nice sandy waterfront. Many of the sites are waterfront with several having level lake access.
We have stayed at several of the sites in that loop and have brought our large sea kayaks to explore the lake. We will be back this spring with our canoe and dog....
The only complaint we have is that all along the main waterfront, parking lot and boat launch area there are far too many very bright lights that are on all night long and the nearby sites are pretty well flooded with light pollution. Worse, the lights are not "downcast" lights and throw a lot of light to the sides needlessly detracting from what should be a far more natural setting.
Most of those lights should be turned off at night and all should be downcast lights. They are so bright as to make star gazing very tough in that area. The lights certainly detract from an otherwise beautiful and peaceful campground.
