Fantastic campground! Lots of space, right on the water, plenty of shade, lots of downed trees for firewood. Swimming is great- shallow for non-swimmers, gently sloping to deep for experienced swimmers. Wonderful kayaking and tubing, fish from bank or boat! You can put your boat in at the public landing then pull it upon the beach at your campsite! Roads are perfect for walking and biking. Bathrooms are kept really clean. Just take bug spray (chiggers😉)

We had site 15E. Nice shady site, a little snug but out popup fit perfectly. It was our 1st trip to Longwood Park, but definitely won't be our last.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Shower house on back end of the park was not kept clean. Bordered on being nasty with worms on the floor and old wash clothes. The same wash cloth was there for 3 days.
Other than that, nice stay

Picked this campground because I was under the impression dogs would be allowed to swim (on leash); however upon arrival was given a paper that said otherwise. My dog was still able to wade in the water next to our campsite but I didn’t want to break any rules taking her out farther, just wish this information was a lot more prevalent on the website when booking.
Also the Website advertises flush toilets, which there are in the shower house, but the standalone bathrooms are vault toilets. Most other campers left on Sunday afternoon and seemed to take the remaining toilet paper with them. Luckily I had a spare roll but no one came by Sunday or Monday to check the bathroom.
Aside from the confusing information and lack of toilet paper the campground was very clean and nice. The reservoir is beautiful and a lot of the Sites are on the water. This is more of a “party campground” with everyone being quite noisy during the day on the lake or at the sites, which didn’t bother me but just know what to expect, had no issues during quiet hours.
