Great sites! Ones on the water are super pretty but 90% of sites are the same size, pretty big. Boathouse was spotless.

Some good campsites here. Especially the no hookup ones that are right on the water.

Campground was clean, especially the bath house! Staff is very friendly and super helpful. Site 21 Left loop was perfect for us, nice and quiet, and great fishing spot right behind the campsite!!!

Beautiful, well maintained campground. Very quiet at night even with lots of campers. Most people seem to have RV's. Tent campers please be aware: the bathrooms are...minimal. Overall great experience, will be back again!

Need more sites with electricity. Also people seem to be reserving the weekend and then not showing up.

We have stayed at Longwood a few times in the last three years, including over one-week stays. The campground is off of a busy highway and busy early in the morning. The Southern sites suffer the most noise pollution, although they have great sites on the lake there. The sites on the North side and West side are the quietest and have great views of the lake. The hosts have been accommodating when we had to move camp because of obnoxious, drunk, neighbors. About that: You would think the Rangers would enforce the drinking regulations (no alcohol) when a neighbor complains. This last trip of 8 days we moved because site 66 (we tent camp) was just too loud for us. When neighbors again were loud and up until 4:00 AM, I woke up, left my tent and family and tried to get the hosts attention, knocking on their doors. No answer. I was later informed by hosts to call 911 to report rowdy campers. The showers are hot and there are two bath houses. Vault toilets nearby loops but they super stink and never get hosed down. We will camp here a couple of times a year for several reasons but will sometimes look to other campgrounds to find more peace and quiet.
