We loved North Bend Park! It was beautiful! The camp sites are well situated so you don’t notice your neighbors much. Very woodsy. They even have a nice beach to swim in. Very clear water. The shower facilities were very nice as well.

Great campground! My family enjoys camping here because the lake is so convenient for swimming and kayaking. With that being said, motorized vessels need to respect the NO WAKE zones. The jet skis especially were running full force too close to shore! The sites are clean and the fire ring is nice for cooking and roasting marshmallows. The only problem I had on the last trip was the noise from a group of campers not respecting the “quiet” hours. The park ranger came by during the day because it was obvious that there were too many people occupying the campsites. However, the partying continued until 1:30 a.m. I feel there should be more park rangers available enforcing the rules. I plan to return; however, please keep North Bend Campground a wonderful place to camp by ENFORCING the rules!

Northbend is a great park. It's clean and maintained very well. We have been coming there since we were bith about 5 tears old with our families. It's been 61 years. We camp two or three times every year. It's relaxing and the people are really great. Thank you for updating but not changing the park. I wish yoy would bring back the store and maybe the paddle boats, I hate driving up to Gills for ice and stuff. Anyway its a great place and we will continue to camp there. Thank you

Lake opportunities are abundant. This is a popular location for boating, fishing and there are numerous swim beaches. There are towns fairly close by. South Hill has major stores for shopping and a variety of restaurants. Clarksville has basic stores and a wonderful small town feel to it.
