I noticed several sites I would have reserved but were previously booked that sat empty all week. These were waterfront sites that are in high demand. I'm assuming this is where selfish campers overbooked camp sites only at the last minute canceling out. It's sad this is allowed to be abused like this.

Great flat site with easy access to the water in a secluded cove. Not a ton of privacy between sites, but enough to feel comfortable. Got heavy rain during our stay and the pad had excellent drainage. Not dealing with standing water was wonderful!

Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- The campground gate house is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from April 1 to October 31.
Site capacity
- Camping equipment must fit within the site perimeters and tents should have padding due to gravel bases.
- The maximum stay is 14 days within any 30-day period, and changing reservations to extend the stay is prohibited.
Safety & rules
- Generators and music must be turned off by 10:00 p.m.
- Mail and packages cannot be sent to the park; they will be refused and returned to the sender.
Site types & loops
- Alcoholic beverages and off-road vehicles are not allowed in the campground.
Fees & deposits
- Interagency Senior and Access Pass holders get a 50% discount on camping fees, but must be present at registration.
