Stayed here in a camper for a few months.
Spots flood and they have no interest resolving the issues, my dogs got hot spots on their feet due to them having to walk to through mud and a foot of water 90% of our time here. Dryers only half dry your clothes. They create Random rules if they dislike you/something your doing, and tape a violent your door, but someone else doing the same thing is fine. They don’t disclose on the website their vehicle expectations for “inspections”.
One perk was one of the office ladies was quite lovely and understanding.

I love camping here. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, and the grounds are always clean. Quiet hours are observed and enforced, which is great.

Very convenient drive up drive range. Only thing is dude that gave me a token never gave me a basket for the balls that dispense out of the machine so when I didn’t use a basket it only dispensed 15 damn balls. Pathetic.

I moved in here because it was the closest to the shipyard. Great choice. To start the facility is great, I had the full set up site 30 amp water and septic. They do have 50 amp and sites with no septic if that’s all that’s left. I ended up staying the full 120 day limit. They have a fully functional buckees style bathroom with warm tiled showers. There is a laundry but it’s limited and people watch their doggy matts in there, but there’s a great laundromat at Great ridge 15 mins away if you drive speed limit. There is lots of shade, huge trees, it’s quiet, you need a security card to get in so no worries about unwanted visitors. The site sits about a quarter mile from the road so no road noise. My daughter loved hand feeding the horses. They have about 30 or so in the stables. I was fortunate enough that a horse mom let me feed George some apple treats. Overall this place is a gem. I’d stay longer if Virginia allowed it.

I stayed one night on my way north but would love to go back in spring or summer and stay several days. Campground is treed and property is 100 acres of horses, chickens, pastures and wood. Also there is a river accross the street you can canoe/kayak. Staff was nice and price was very good.
