clean, quiet and nice camping spaces! We did buy two bundles of firewood they were dry so burned very fast. We forgot our ax as there was downed wood around our site to use. Two showers in the restroom area. Our site # 13 had a decline to the back of our rv where the firepit and picnic table were located, as we are older next time will look for a more level site.

The site was clean when arrived, was 2 tier and worked for what we needed. We car camped and set everything up on the parking pad, using the second tier for chairs and to hang out by the fire. Bathrooms were decent. We enjoyed that they were warmed. We hiked right from our site the first day, but did leave to do other hikes in the area. Only negative I'd say was that the camping store never seemed to be open. We will definitely be back here.

The spots are nicely separated from each other. However, you can hear the main hwy/road within the campground all day and night. When I was there so were a lot of kids and they were very loud at all hours. Bathhouses are nice and the events they hold on Friday and Saturday are cool.

Wilderness Road Campground is a treasure. As far as campsites and facilities, this was the best I encountered in 2500 miles of recent camping. The staff were helpful and the bath facilities stocked and clean. This time I didn't get to hike, but on prior trips I did enjoy the hike to the Tri-State point. Anyway, five stars!

We were in B15 an electric site. The site was large and level side to side with a slight forward lean. It was very private with greenery around 3 sides. It was a short walk to the bath house and the bathrooms and shower rooms were very clean. There is a lot to do with the Park Service (we did the Hensley Settlement tour) and look forward to coming back to do the Gap Cave tour. Lots of hiking trails. We ate dinner at Nineteen Bar and Grill in the town of Cumberland Gap, TN - a 6 minute drive - which was very good. A beautiful area and important history lesson of the US.

Nice campground with treed sites. Mostly level sites. Hiking paths, bathhouse and some sites with electric. Beautiful fall colors when we were there. Bathroom and showers could use some attention .

What a wonderful experience! We did lots of hiking on the trails, there was plenty of places to walk our two little dogs, very quiet at night, magnificent autumn views of all sorts of decidious trees in their fall colors. Its close to Cumberland Gap city and we were pleasantly surprised to be able to see the annual 'Streaming the Gap' festival downtown with all the airstream campers lined up and camping on the main street for the weekend. Had never heard of it or seen so many airstream campers lined up together in my whole life. All were beautiful with many decked out for Halloween. A fun and relaxing weekend if you ever get to go in autumn.
