We were fortunate to get a campsite that was fairl level, only needed 2 boards under each wheel on one side on C-11. The week before this, our campsite B-5 was even more level. So many of the sites are very unlevel and I like that the description on Recreation.gov gives the slope from slight to severe. We enjoyed a nice hike, even saw some deer on the hike. The restrooms and showers are nice for a National Park and a bonus as many National Parks do not have showers or sites with electric. We like to stay here whenever we are in the area.

Well maintained, helpful & Professional -“Ranger Sam” assisted us with Check-In and later alerted us to high-wind inclement weather - arranging for us to move to a safer camp area away from overhead trees. Restroom was clean and provisioned. Visitor Center was well staffed and extremely helpful with planning our stay. Thank you to All.

I love coming to wilderness rd campground I walk the trails there and visit the horse it's so peaceful to be in the great outdoors, most of the people I meet there are so friendly and I also do the night hike with the ranger, I really enjoyed last year when they had the bluegrass band, hopefully the park can bring it back in the near future. I really enjoyed my stay and will be back next year.

Very quiet Campground. Good amount of trees and shrubs between sites. Watch out how much slope is listed on each site. Some are steep. Rangers led activities each night on weekends. No water but plenty of places in Campground to get water.

The campsite was nice and clean, but there were a few buts; no fire wood except what one can forage on the grounds around there. The grill on the fire pit was damaged which made cooking a little difficult. Other than that it was great. The volunteer at the gate was very helpful.
