Beautiful campground with large sites. Somewhat unlevel but not too bad. No water at site but close by.

Bathroom & shower facilities very clean. Several nice trails with entry points from campgrounds. Need to be careful in booking site as many have significant grades.

Our site at C15 was sloped only a couple of inches from side to side and accommodated our 20’ travel trailer nicely with room to park the pickup after setup. The bath house was nice and only a stone’s throw away.
Mid October visit, we walked the Greenleaf (?) loop trail with two small dogs and it was very well maintained and right nearby the campground.

Best restrooms at a campsite I have ever been too. Well done staff! The campground is on the side of a mountain kind of, so a lot of the sites are slanted making them not great for tent camping. If you are going to tent camp I would recommend calling the office and asking for their recommendation on a site, the website photos aren't very helpful at all. But in all good trip. Great access to hiking trails, though the signs aren't great for the trails right off the campground, the ones to Pinnacle etc are good. Highly recommend going on the Honey Tree Spur trail, there is a beautiful overlook with a bed of moss and a tree right in the sun at the peak of the loop.

Bathrooms are heated, clean, and modern. Not all sites are flat, but descriptions are quite fair and accurate on line. The campground has trails that connect to the main park, so you can start your adventures without driving as long as you don't mind a few more miles on foot. Firewood was fairly priced but I doubt it was actually heat treated as advertised.

Great place to stay. My only suggestion is to have separate shower houses for men and women and to have a few more shower houses. The park is large and could use a few more to accommodate.
