Stoney Creek Resort & Campground

Update::: I got my money back but because of my interaction with them I have been banned from ever saying here!! Just like others have said happened to them! After my interaction with you I wouldn’t stay here didn’t need to be banned !

We were scheduled to be here for a weekend. A trip that we had planned for two years. We left and our tow rig had a check engine light on, it spent 4 days in the shop and we hit the road again, check engine light again. We decided to go home. I emailed to cancel reservations because of the issue we had. It was 14 days prior to our reservation and needed to be 15. Be sure to read their policy they WILL not give you your money back even something happens! But we’re nice enough to give me a voucher I will never use! The office staff was not very understanding and refused to tell me who else I could speak with as she was the “office Manager”. She was the final word.All Other campgrounds are we cancelled either charged us 20.00 or waived it because of what happened. Even with a credit we wouldn’t go here !!!

We were passing through and stayed 1 night. Best suited for longer stays since it is tucked away back in a very pretty area.
Employee were great and the price fair. It was early October so things were pretty quiet.

I have been going to this campground for many years I had got in an argument with someone and was asked not to come back. It broke my heart. I love this, place the owners are sweet and kind. They have something going on every weekend for the campers. It is so fun and so nice in one day I hope I get to go back. They have bingo on Friday night which have so much. Two pools One is a heated pool so nice they have a Little, golf I could go on about this camp. I would never say anything about the room. It is a great place and I hope whoever wins this understands we all make mistakes and I hope I get invited back Sunday but for you all reading this, I’m telling you it is a great place.

These folks were so kind! We told them we were coming later in the evening, and they moved our spot to a better lit place so we would have an easier time setting up our tent! They had a mini golf course (we didn't have enough time to do it though) and some really cool playgrounds! The bathrooms were clean and they had a nice shower house as well! I was extra impressed by the breakfast we got the next morning. It was a great price and the food tasted amazing! Overall, we loved our experience, all the staff were super friendly and I hope to come stay again soon!

We almost canceled after reading the negative reviews but so so glad we chose to keep our reservation. We visited over Memorial Day weekend- booked the last site available and it was fantastic. The staff was absolutely amazing- so welcoming and friendly- happy to assist with any question or need. We were on the upper level -site 375- it was very spacious and private. The bath house was directly across from the site- it was immaculate and well maintained. The upper level was very quiet at night- we have a travel trailer with drop down beds- so noise can be a problem at some campgrounds- it was never an issue during our stay. The neighbors were friendly and respectful. The pool appeared very clean and well kept- the lake was beautiful and the camp store well stocked. We spent most of our days hiking so did not participate in events they had scheduled but clearly a family atmosphere enjoyed by all. We like to walk/hike so we did not rent a golf cart for our entire stay- if that’s not your thing you may want to consider renting one if staying in upper lot- it is a bit of a walk to pool/lake/store- if you are considering booking in this area I highly recommend it you won’t be disappointed.
