Horseshoe Point is a beautiful campground with spectacular lakeside camping sites. In early May it was quiet and comfortable. The bathroom facilities are excellent, spacious. very clean and well-designed for a good hot shower. Friendly park attendants welcomed us as we arrived and as we departed. Sandy beach on Philpott Lake is available for swimming. If you're willing to travel to a remote location, it's well worth the drive once you arrive.

Nice spot on the lake. Bathrooms can be messy sometimes.

The park is incredibly beautiful, and well taken care of, you won't find better views to wake up to when your camping.

Our family has been going to Horseshoe Point Campground on Phillpot Lake.every summer for many years. We continue to be in disbelief that the same park attendants are there, summering here from Florida. I am astonished they keep getting invited back. We find them not the easiest to deal with, ornery, and in general not too happy with the world. I wish you might find another couple to be the hosts.
