Went up there for the 4th of July weekend and the bathrooms were only cleaned once in those four days. With everything going on and COVID, you’d figure they would bleach them on a daily basis, however this was not the case. We also tried to extend one day and because you have no internet access out there we had to drive into town (18 miles) out just to make reservations, because they don’t have the capability to do it at on site. Also depending on the campground, most are really small and you can hear your neighbors think. Needless to say won’t be going back.

In my opinion horseshoe point is the gem of philpott lake.
The RV sites are roomy and wooded. Just what we like. We bring our boat with us and there was room on our campsite for it as well.
Philpott Lake is beautiful.
