I cannot say enough about what a wonderful time we had at Horseshoe Point! We arrived early and the guard at the gatehouse was so nice and let us go on in and setup. The site was clean and very roomy, conveniently located right across from the bath house (which is also spotless), and just a short walk to the little beach area. We can't wait to return!

Have been camping at horseshoe point for years and years love the campground and the clean water and the lack of boats and they other campers. But you need to fix the showers tired of trying to keep everything dry. Need more space and an extra room to dry off and dress.

Quiet, remote campground. Good privacy. We didn't use the facilities, but there seemed adequate bathrooms with showers. The dump station is on a bit of a hill, so I didn't try to use it since the slope would keep things from running to the drain.
I would pay close attention to the recommended vehicle length. We were in a 26 foot site with a 25 foot trailer. We just got in and it took some maneuvering. Folks next to us tried and failed since there unit was a little too big and they had too little patience.
