Our trip was very good. The only negative thing would be the water pressure at the bathhouse very weak for the men's and the women's side. Everything else was very good. We enjoyed our stay.

Gateperson was new, gave me a hard time about our seniors' golden pass. It was my understanding it was first my husband and myself, but he wasnt with me this trip. I reserved for two nights but only made it the second night, so the discount wasnt even realized. He sent the park ranger down, and then the next shift park ranger came down to complete the registration the attendant failed to do. It was just allot of nonsense over our pass, which I've used in other parks without a problem.

Very nice campground. the sites are a little rough, but understandable with the flooding. The noise level was a little much at 11pm. This campground needs work. We will visit again.

What a gem! We had a fantastic experience meeting with friends to camp at Salthouse Branch! It was not crowded at all and the campsites were very private. Hard to believe that more people don't know about this - especially given the state park right across the lake was completely full! Would definitely consider a return camping trip!

Associates friendly and informative. Very clean bathhouses. Blowing leaves off roads. We will be back.

Salthouse has always been one of our favorite spots to camp. The staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is inviting. In today's world, there are guidelines that have been developed in an effort to protect the health and well being of everyone while allowing much needed interaction. This campground provides everything needed and then some. We'll be back soon!

The park was nice, and they tried very hard to keep it clean... maybe a little too hard, we felt like we heard leaf blowers non stop during our two day stay. Someone even looked into our firepit, I’m assuming to clean it, while we sitting outside eating

First time ever had someone in site when we arrived. Crowded weekend and drove through the groups back to gate. Fabulous and thoughtful help from Camp Host managing the gate. Found the only other open site and parked. Host called to say she got the other people out who didn't have a reservation to stay and extra night. She was again apologetic and her concern and care was greatly appreciated. The park emptied as usual on Sunday and we found a nicer site and she changed our reservation to move into that spot. Great service and care! There is a wonderful trail in the Rec Area not even on AllTrails that goes 5 miles out. We did 6 out and back and had great views of the lake. Steep and hard at times ... hike/cycle/horse trail. All in all, we love the facilities and had a great time.
