The ranger who checked me in was so personal and knowledgeable. The camp site was clean and provided easy access to bathroom facilities. The fact that I only paid $15 due to my Senior Lifetime Pass was a bonus.

This is a great campground to stay. In addition to great access to many trails, the campground is an easy walk to the lodge if you want a Starbucks coffee in the morning or eat in the restaurant for any of your meals. They also have a small tavern downstairs in the lodge with really good wings, but most impressive was the customer service by everyone working in the park.

Big Meadows campground is one of our favorite places to camp. It is always so peaceful and relaxing. There are many hikes to take and the Visitor Center is always helpful to find the best one suited for you.
I am concerned that the campground is not being mowed as much as it has in the past. We have been several times this year and the grass is very long.
