Great campsite with access to really cool hikes! Loved that it was also nearby a lodge/hotel so it made for an easy dinner when I didn't want to cook over a fire. Bathrooms and showers were really nice and clean. It was a well taken care of campground and I'd be happy to stay there again in the spring.

The camp site itself is great - well maintained, helpful staff, great maps, sign and amenities. Bathrooms were easily accessible and spotless. Perhaps because of this, the campground was very crowded. It was completely full the night we stayed (9/20). Most guests were friendly and adhered to rules, but unfortunately, the three sites directly next to ours were surrounded by a large, loud family group who played music until midnight and stayed up talking loudly until after 2am, despite quiet hours and our polite request for them to quiet down. I realize there's nothing the park service can do about this, but it may be helpful for other campers to know. If you're looking for a quieter camping trip surrounded by nature, definitely try one of the other campgrounds in the park.

I loved your campground and may experience there.
What I didn’t like was that I could not make a booking including a Friday from home. When I was there I could easily add on the Friday in person. Therefore I must assume a discrepancy between availability shown online (and 600 miles away) and the reality of availability for the same place when I was already present! This was a very close call for canceling my whole trip, which would have been a shame! I risked 600 miles of driving for an incomplete stay - but I got it completed finally! Thank you - but please be more considerate in handling your online tools!

We enjoyed our stay! only reason I did not give it 5 stars was the cost of the showers..$5 for 10 minutes ( all in Quarters like a car wash Haha) that may be ok for people with short hair but long hair can take 5 minutes to rinse out.. if you could stop and start the shower it may be ok. Loved having the deer just wonder through the campground with very little fear of humans and dogs.

Nice shaded lot. The slope makes it a bit hard for a good sleep….

This campsite is nice, but is only for a small tent. The hill makes it hard for a larger tent. It is centrally located in the campground and has quick access to showers and bathrooms

Spot A070. Good spot for tent or Class B RV. T-MOBILE signal was 5G UC. Close to restrooms which were clean. Bear box and water right next to site. $5 showers with hot water close by and near dark hollow falls

We had a great time here! Will definitely be returning in the future. We came prepared with our own toilet paper, cleaning wipes, and sealed trash container just in case the park was overwhelmed in those areas but everything was running smoothly! Well done, staff for taking great care of the park & visitors under more than usual pressure :)
