A great campground for a quick night out or a family trip. Enough trees to create a little bit of privacy and for me to hang my hammock if you don’t have an RV, I highly recommend staying in the generator free zone. I had such a good night sleep that night. Bathrooms were as expected decently clean, but no showers ( they warn you advance ). Very hilly, narrow one-way road so I don’t know how the large campers made it through but no one seemed to have an issue

I liked this campground. But it was a 66 mi round trip to a shower in big meadows. It would be nice to build a shower either at the campground or at elk wallow.

We had a wonderful time tent camping at Mathews Arm. It was a quiet campground and easy to navigate. Bathrooms were clean and never very busy.

Very clean bathrooms. No contact with the host, and I had a question which could not be answered. The hosts need to come round and see people as they check in.
