Campsite was well prepared, leaves blown off well on and around pad area. Host were out and about throughout the day had anything come up that needed assistance. Nature trail and spillway access trail well maintained. Kids had lots of fun and want to come back next year.

Great campground. Nice access to a creek. Fun for the kids. Clean bathrooms, hot showers. Only downside was there was no soap in the bathrooms. Would definitely return.

Nice campground with amenities close by. Campsites are kept clean upon arrival. Checkout time could be extended by an hour or so would help.

We reserve this camping site in the last minute. My family were wanting to have an escape from daily city smoke (Richmond) and it was so perfect! We’re not expecting to have a such experience! We had a midnight rain wich make it more enjoyable 😌. Peaceful, clean, organized place and all the people stay were so respectful to each others. We all love it!

This was a beautiful camp. The sites are not too close together, which gives a sense of privacy, especially with the trees between sites. We enjoyed going on two of the beautiful hiking trails around the camp. The bathrooms and showers were very, very clean — so much appreciated!

Beautiful campground in the Virginia mountains. Nice lake all built be the CCC nearly 100 years ago!

We camped with 3 families side by side and had an absolute blast! The bear boxes were amazing and so nice to have a place to store all of our food and supplies. Bathrooms were clean and I loved the individual shower rooms. We will be back.

From I- 81 North, take Exit 175 just south of Natural Bridge. Go north on U.S. Highway 11. Turn right at the Natural Bridge parking lot onto Route 130 East. Continue for approximately 4 miles to Natural Bridge Station. Turn right onto State Route 759 and continue for about 3 miles, then turn right again onto State Route 781. Turn left into the recreation area, then bear left at the Y intersection and continue into the campground.
From I-81 South, take exit 180 (left exit) and continue south to Natural Bridge. Turn left onto Route 130 East and continue following the above directions.
The campground is accessible via I-81, with the closest exit being 175 for U.S. Highway 11, located just south of Natural Bridge. From U.S. Highway 11, Route 130 East leads into the area, followed by State Route 759 and State Route 781.

- All campsites are by Reservation ONLY. Reservations must be made online at Rec.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777
- Bears and other wildlife frequent the area; keep all food stored in approved containers or locked inside your vehicle. Violators are subject to a fine.
- No electric, water or sewer hookups available.
- Main gate closes at , re-opens at .
- Maximum of two dogs allowed per site. Dogs must be leashed at all times on a leash no longer than 6 feet.
- No alcohol allowed in beach, picnic, swimming or parking areas.
- Day-use visitors and visitors of camping guests must pay the appropriate day-use fee.
