Nice quiet location with well spaced camping sites. We camped in a site towards the back end of the loop and it was beautifully nestled into the woods. Lower number sites are a little more open to grassy fields. We were there on a weeknight after Labor Day so we were 1 of 3-4 total sites occupied. Hosts were nice and introduced themselves when we arrived. Will come back again.

Nice secluded campgrounds. Plenty of space between each campsite so you are not right on top of your neighbor.
I can't say much about any other campsite but the one we were in was at the back of the campgrounds pretty deep in the woods.
As such it does not get much sun so everything was pretty soggy.
The picnic table was slimy and starting to rot from the moisture.
Maybe pick a site that is a little more in the open in the hopes that the sun may dry things out a bit.
This is not really the campgrounds fault so I still gave them 5 stars.
It really is a nice place and I would definitely go back.

Beautiful and clean. Just a perfect spot for a vacation off the grid, but with a bathroom.

Primitive sites so we don't stay here often but we love the area. I love it because the sites are spread out.

First time with my wife at a campground and we loved it!
This place is clean, well kept, isolated enough, and quiet/calm. Camping sites are well spread out so you can always have a sense of privacy. We used this campground mostly as a pit stop for our drive from Louisiana to New Jersey to visit family (who wants to fly during a Pandemic?) since it is close to the highway and half way there.
Beware, there's no cellphone service so be prepared with your offline maps (or printed maps!)

The campground was nice and restrooms were clean. However, it is fairly isolated so come with everything you need. The closest convenience store is in Sugar Grove. Hungry Mother State Park is about 35 minutes away and Grayson Highlands is 45 minutes away. There are a few trails in the campground

Wonderful stay. Beautiful, quiet, small campground. The gravel road to get to the campground wasn't bad. I drove it in a VW station wagon. The mountains were cool on those summer nights.
