Waynesboro North 340

Enjoyed our stay!
We took our kids for a two-night tent trip. The tent sites were small, shaded, and fairly close to the playground/bathrooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The other campers were also welcoming. Clean bathrooms and the kids loved playing on the playground. Not too many bugs where we were located. This campground is within reasonable distance of Ridgeview Park and other activities.

The only downside was that the tent sites were by the main campsite road. RVs and cars would drive by after late check in and wake the kids. We could also hear the highway and the railroad, which probably won’t bother adults, but our kids were woken by the midnight train and a group of late night trucks with loud mufflers. Not the site’s fault, just something to consider during your stay.

Great site.

Had an overnight of moto tent camping here before starting on the blue ridge Parkway and it was very smooth and pleasant. Well-shaded tent spots, hot showers, complimentary coffee, nearby gas and meals in town, the office even had a little wagon to haul wood to and from your site. All other campers were quiet and respectful.

This was our first time staying at this campground, and we were pleasantly surprised! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The facilities were very clean, and the grounds were well maintained. It's a wonderful campground to relax and spend quality time with friends and family. We highly recommend it and look forward to visiting again!

We went to Waynesboro North 340 in an emergency due to both truck and camper issues. They were very accommodating and supportive with both a no-notice spot in their campsite, and an unexpected extension by a day. Their camp is beautiful and peaceful. A great place to stay (or battle maintenance issues)

Our 3rd or 4th stay here as location is close to family. Staff was very accommodating. Sites are very close together which is tricky for larger rigs and using picnic tables n fire rings that have your neighbors sewer hose adjacent. Not all sites are level which can add another level of challenges even with auto leveling jacks.
