Host Brandon was delightful: friendly, helpful, and entertaining for our first time at this camp. Camp was quiet and remote yet close to entrance of Rainier NP, allowing us convenient early access to minimize our gate wait.

This campground was our favorite of the trip! It’s the perfect location for days hiking in Mt Rainier, with about a 5 minute drive to the entrance. The campground was peaceful and beautifully tucked away in the forest. Campsites had a good distance in between.

A basic campground, but a great location for getting to Rainier early and getting a FCFS campsite there.

Great campground! Running water and pit toilets. Everything was clean. Camp host very friendly. I was in campsite 1. Good size but very dusty. Whole site was dirt and it got everywhere including breathing it in. Bugs were minimal. Ashford was nearby and very cute. Nice trail. We found a geocache.

This was a nice, quiet, and small campground with relatively quick access (~1hr) to the Mt Rainier Paradise visitor center parking lots. Some blackberry and raspberry bushes were in the perimeters of our campsite that we ran into when setting up a hammock on a nearby tree.

Well kept, pit toilets were clean and stocked, nice new picnic benches at every site. Site 13 had enough space for 1 large tent and 1 smaller one

Very nice small campground with good space in between campsites that provide privacy. Site 013 was extra long.

Excellent value for a super touristy area. Good alternative to in park sites. Clean bathrooms, beautiful setting, super friendly and cool host.
