What Guests Are Saying
Hood Park is a beautiful, well-maintained campground with friendly and helpful staff, offering spacious sites and scenic views along the Snake River. Many families appreciate the park's peaceful atmosphere, clean facilities, and good fishing opportunities. However, some guests noted issues with spiders, bees, and tree maintenance, suggesting improvements in pest control and tree trimming for a safer experience, especially for families with young children.

Great sites with plenty of grass areas. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Fishing spots and hiking/biking trails were within a 15min drive. Make sure to bring your own firewood.

The lady in the office was awesome. Space was tight for my 18 foot camp trailer and short bed pickup.

We stayed in site #47 pullthrough with our fruends in the pullthroughs in front and back of us, all on the river side. You can see barges and sternwheeler on the river, along with swans and ducks. Across the way is a grain terminal that does have horns going off quite often, but we didn't care. 35' Cardinal 5th wheel; Sis had a 27' Winnebago, and others had a 27' trailer. NO water, but we knew ahead, only electricity. $26 a night, but 50% off senior discount! Beautiful grounds! We'll be back !

Waterside campsite which was very relaxing. This was my first Army CofE campground which was spacious, clean and well organized. Execellent stop enroute to Mount Rainier via Yakima

The only thing it would have taken to get 5 stars was FULL hookups

What a huge improvement to the park to the park since end of May (Memorial Day). The park was so dry when we were there on Memorial Day but this Labor Day the park looked amazing. Volunteers and hosts were great! See you next year.

The Host β Wendy β was very helpful in rescuing us when we found ourselves locked out of our R V. The park was super clean, green and well maintained. Thanks
