What Guests Are Saying
Panther Creek Campground offers a clean and well-maintained environment with spacious, private sites and easy access to hiking trails and the beautiful creek. Many visitors enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, although some experienced noisy logging trucks early in the morning. While there were a few issues, such as a lack of water signage and fire bans, the friendly camp host and scenic surroundings make it a popular choice for campers seeking a serene outdoor experience.

The campsite, grounds and latrines were clean and well tended. While many sites were marked as Reserved, it seemed many did not come so it was very quiet for the most part. The Camp Kitty, a Siamese, frequented out site looking for handouts. She appeared to have young ones but only one person in our group caught a glimpse of two others. The host was uninterested in helping catch the cats when Carson locals stepped up to help. I guess it wasn't in his job description.

Only problem was that our site was closed due to a fallen tree. We were relocated to an equally suitable site, but not next to our friends that we had reserved to be next to.

nice and quiet except for the logging truck at 2 in the morning heading up the hill.

The water pump at the campground entrance was out of order. Signage indicating the closest working pump would have been appreciated. I had assumed there was no water available, only to discover another source further inside campground.

campsite was clean, and had lots of privacy. There was a water pump, and the pit toilet was as clean as could be expected. The host was friendly, and informative for the several hikes/sites in the area. Panther Falls is spectacular, and an easy hike to view. the only downside was the logging trucks that started going by at 3:30 AM. However, that is probably short lived.

The whole site is so clean and quiet! We love the distance between sites and the tent pads makes driving stakes into the ground easy (as well as offering good drainage). The old growth trees and easy access to Panther Creek makes this campground a regular favorite!

Was a great camping site. Kids loved playing in the creek. Was awesome hearing the creek at night. Spent next night at site 33 which was also great but didn't have the creek. But had occasional traffic noises. Both were great. Panther Creek Falls nearby and is beautiful. Road to Falls is full of potholes though.

Nice, clean campground and vault toilets. It's easy to access from town so making quick trips for ice, food, or drinks was easy.
We arrived on Friday and did not have service at the campground so we didn't get the notice that potable water was out of service in time and had to go back into town.
